The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission aims to give reassurance to the public through the ACNC Tick of Charity Registration that the charity is transparent and accountable through highlighting its presence on the ACNC Charity Register.

The inclusion of Orthopaedic Outreach on the ACNC Charity Register guarantees our authenticity as a Registered Charity with Deductible Gift Recipient status and is evidence of compliance to regulatory standards as outlined by the ACNC.

Statement of Commitment

Orthopaedic Outreach Australasia ABN 68 910 058 787 (trading as Orthopaedic Outreach) is a Company Limited by Guarantee (a not-for-profit company), and holds Deductible Gift Recipient (meaning that all donations are tax deductible). We are proudly a member of the Australian Council For International Development (ACFID), and abide by the ACFID Fundraising Charter and the ACFID Code of Conduct.

This provides structure and minimum standards for transparency in communication, governance, and financial accountabilities; essentially best practice of doing business as a non-government organisation (NGO).

We invest in ensuring we have the best administrative processes to ensure every dollar donated contributes to our overall impact in addressing the shortfall of musculoskeletal care in South-East Asia and the Pacific.

Complaints relating to any alleged breach of the ACFID Fundraising Charter or the ACFID Code of Conduct can be directed to the ACFID Code of Conduct Committee.

The Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) is the peak Council for Australian not-for-profit aid and development organisations. Orthopaedic Outreach Australasia Limited is a signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct, which is a voluntary, self – regulatory sector code of good practice. As a signatory we are committed and fully adhere to the ACFID Code of Conduct, conducting our work with transparency, accountability and integrity.
